Improved Clarity in Date-Based Automation Credential Triggers
Credentialing
What's new?
The Credential Expiration Date trigger in Date-Based Automations has been relabeled from "Any" to "All" to accurately reflect how the system evaluates credentials. When a candidate has multiple credentials, Bullhorn Automation evaluates them as a group, and the automation advances based on the collective expiration date logic, not on any single credential in isolation.
Why does it matter?
This labeling update provides several key benefits:
-
Reduces confusion: The previous "Any" label led users to believe candidates were stuck or that the automation had stalled, when in reality the system was working as designed.
-
Minimizes support requests: Eliminates unnecessary support tickets caused by misunderstanding how credential groups are evaluated.
-
Builds user confidence: Particularly important for compliance-heavy staffing environments such as healthcare and light industrial, where automated credential monitoring is critical.
-
Improves transparency: Users now have a clearer understanding of how the system processes multiple credentials collectively.
